In early 2018, Beau’s All Natural Brewing Company, in Ontario, Canada, partnered with Jameson Irish Whiskey and their ‘Drinking Buddies‘ program, the incubator to their Jameson Caskmates range. Beau’s brewed a 2018 edition of their ‘Strong Patrick, Irish Style Red Ale‘ and aged it in Jameson, Irish Whiskey barrels.
The beer was a 6.7% malty red ale, a touch stronger in alcohol than one would expect for this style, although the added alcohol allows for more ideal maturation conditions. The beer was disgorged, and bottled in March of this year before the casks were sent back to the Midleton warehouses for refilling and finishing.

The subsequent whiskey is a Jameson whiskey with a Red Ale cask finish and appears to be only available through LCBO stores in the province of Ontario, Canada, for $41.95 CAD. It appears that it will be available from the LCBO online stores soon, you can keep an eye on the listing here.
