Redbreast Dream Cask is one of the most sought after whiskey releases on the annual calendar for Irish whiskey enthusiasts. Each year, the Redbreast team trawl through the vast warehouse inventories in the New Midleton Distillery, to find a single cask that exemplifies the single pot still character of the best that they have to offer.
Just under 1,000 bottles of this whiskey are released by ballot system, and bottles are now arriving with those lucky few that were successful this year.
Thankfully, whether you were or were not lucky in the ballot you can still join Redbreast Blender, Dave McCabe, and Potstilled Live host, Matt Healy, tomorrow evening, June 3rd, at 8pm IST on Potstilled Live (Facebook, or Youtube).
Dave will be taking us through a tutored tasting of this year’s Dream Cask release as well as bringing us inside the decision making process that the Redbreast team makes to decide each year’s Dream Cask release.
