Online Irish Whiskey retailer – Irishmalts – have just released their first single cask exclusive with Dublin Irish whiskey giants, Teeling Irish Whiskey.
This exclusive bottling is a non-age statement Single Pot Still Irish whiskey, which has been fully matured in Bordeaux Red Wine casks for its entire life. This whiskey was hand selected from warehouse samples evaluated by the Irishmalts spirit evaluation panel, and released as a pre-Christmas exclusive due to “its dark colour and fruity bouquet”.
Bordeaux cask 35337 yielded just under 300 bottles, bottled at a healthy 59.9% ABV, with no chill filtration. Priced at €89.95, this cask strength single cask comes in at under €100 with shipping for most parts of the world.
